In this unit we looked again at theory. Specifically looking at reading and listening skills. This covers various techniques and activities associated with these.
We looked at the different methods of reading and listening skills such as predictive, scanning, skimming and listening with purpose. I recognise the times in which I use these skills in my own life, such as 'scanning' for my horoscope , and not necessarily reading about the others!
Further we looked at how to most effective use the ESA Straight Arrow method to utilise the reading and listening skills mentioned. This makes for clearer understanding and can be applied to many different topics, which should be varied over time
