This unit acted as a visual representation of the units and concepts that were covered thus far into the course. The two videos shown were vastly different in classroom atmosphere, class participation and the general learning of the students due to how the teacher taught his lessons as well as handled his manners.
This unit reinforced that being positive will help students facilitate learning the best as it can create an open and inviting environment for the students to try the language at hand. It is also quite important for EFL teachers to speak slowly and clearly as most native English speakers tend to have a rapid speaking pace. I also had trouble understanding the teacher at the beginning of the first lesson.
Overall, this unit gave me an idea of how to put the plan into action and how the concepts previously covered can help in creating the best environment for the students to learn.
