The unit focuses on some of the common problems that the teacher might encounter and how to deal with them. A few activities are given to establish the levels of the English language the individual students is currently on.
This is imperative as not all students will be on the same level of language use of this foreign language. These activities are an alternative that takes away from the normal course book. It gets the student to participate in the lesson planned and motivates them to get more involved.
