I have learned multiple teaching theories that could possibly help me in the future when teaching. The most useful one seems to be the Engage, Study, Activate method (ESA). This method will come in handy when teaching and gets a good balance of playful learning where the students learn English almost by themselves and the teacher-oriented classroom activities.
The unit also covers activities for each of the ESA elements. This will be useful when planning out the lessons. It also ensures that not every lesson will be the same. The ESA method allows for different variations in lesson planning so the students do not get bored.
