This unit was on troubleshooting common problems and situations. It went into detail about handling first lessons, warming activities, different leveled students, large classes, using native language, reluctant students and difficulties with listening texts. Personally I was wondering on what if you have a group of students who have been learning English from a different teacher with a different accent than you. How can you address this problem? If a British teacher was their former teacher and you are Canadian the differences in the students pronouncing words may cause you to think they are speaking incorrectly. What can I do to address this?
