This unit is quite a difficult and challenging unit to grasp. I am quite interested to see how it is to teach this unit. I have never thought of the present tense to be divided into four categories. As an English Native speaker I have learned any of this in school. In school I just learned about present tense as one thing. Therefore it was a bit confusing and challenging to grasp and understand this unit. I have now learned that there are four different present tenses: present simple, present continuous, present perfect and present perfect continuous. Each category has a form, a usage, common mistakes and/or errors and teaching ideas.
