This unit wasn't as interesting because I already write lesson plans for 5 different classes. The information on how to stay organized is good and I think every new teacher should find a way to stay organized and make time to reflect on what worked and what didn't work for lessons. As a teacher looking for ideas on how to teach very low ELL students, I found the sample lesson plan the most useful. It gave me ideas on other ways I can help beginner students. It cannot be stressed enough how important it is to be prepared when you get up in front of a class of students. It is good to be flexible but you have to know what your goal for the lesson is before you present it. Once you know your students well enough, you can then start anticipating their questions or concerns prior to a lesson.
