The different types of learning resources that can be used during a lesson were discussed in this section. It was noted that authentic material can be useful fore helping students to feel more comfortable practicing their new language skills outside of a classroom setting since the material is coming straight from the \"real world\". Also, textbook usage comes with both advantages and disadvantages as many students experience, and these were outlined. Textbooks are good to use as they provide a sense of consistency to the class, but overuse can be dangerous as students will begin to feel that the lesson is too predictable.
