This unit focused on course book work and creating material for the class. Course books are a good base for any class as students expect there to be a book for the class and it provides a clear direction and progression for the students. On the other hand, course books can be unrelated to the needs of the students as well as be unattractive in it`s design. It`s important for the teacher to be able to create material which can replace or act as a supplement for the course book. Although, replacing too much material from the course book can make students question why they bought the book in the first place. For me, creating my own material is always more fun and allows me to gear the class more towards the needs and interests of the students.
