This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
Past Tenses include four forms. Past Simple is usuallly used when we know the time when the action completed, when we ask about the time. We use Past Continuous when talking about past actions used without time expression, interrupted actions, in descriptions. Past Perfect can be confused with Present Perfect. But it's used to describe the actions occured before other actions. Past Perfect Continuous isn't use so often, we use it when talking about longer activities that had been going on continuously up to the past moment.
One of the most important moments of teaching and studying the Past Tenses is to learn a table of Irregular verbs.
