This unit provided two video examples of a typical lesson. In the first video, the teacher didn't smile at all, was very intimidating, and provided very little information on the worksheets he was handing out. He also did not encourage class participation and most of the class looked scared to answer any questions he had. This video was an example of how you should not teach your class. The second video was much different as the teacher started class with a smile and writing his name on the board. This class had a much clearer ESA format to it, and the teacher made sure to involve all the students in the class by calling them by name. He explained all of his worksheets so the students understood, and praised them whenever they gave correct answers. This was an example of how class should be taught.
