This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This lesson covered pronunciation of English words and included linguistic terminology that I remembered from my linguistic classes. It's a shame most language classes don't go into linguistic studies as the way certain people pronounce certain words is an important study in linguistics (such as Japanese people omitting the \"l\" sound and pronouncing them with \"r\" sounds). Understanding and learning about linguistics will help me as an English teacher in a foreign country, as pronunciation is an important part of learning English and students will feel more at ease if they hear more and more English-speakers pronouncing certain words rather than reading text.
