After undergoing this unit, I feel that it has taught me something new that I had never countered in my
academic career before ? learning the phonemic scripts and trying to decipher what each of the phonetic
scripts are trying to represent. I feel that this unit would be very useful in the future in my career
as a teacher, especially the explanation about how to describe to new learners the vibrations of the
vocal chords that is used when we speak to produce the sounds that each word requires. This unit has
provided a really fruitful and interesting learning experience and learning point in my studies for this
TESOL course, and as any person would be, I feel reinvigorated and motivated in achieving my goal after
going through the questions about the phonemic script.
