Unit 10 focused on two real world examples of teaching in action. In the first, the teacher scowled and didn't promote the best learning environment. As a result the students were intimidated and did not participate. In the second example, the teacher greeted the students with a great, big smile and had a warmer disposition with a more engaging ESA structured lesson. This unit helped me visualize how having a positive attitude and an engaging lesson structure can cause the students to be much more happy and involved in a lesson. Unit 10 illustrates the impact of attitude and structure on student learning.
