I learned so much on the present tense. the present tense in general has to to do with things happening at the present. that is things you are doing at the moment that is why its referred to as the present tense. It mostly deals with issues that come up in our lives for example things we do all the time. so the present tense could be in many forms. It does not limit itself to the things you do at that moment but it could go further to what you are doing continuously. so this will take us to the present continues tense. also it has to do with actions that happened at the past but are still being affected by the present. this will take us to the present perfect and the present continuous. so generally speaking the present tense has to do with issues relating to what is happening at present moment or the time around and some past issues which are still affecting the present
