This unit covered the various kinds of groups that English teachers can end up teaching. The unit gives summaries of the different groups and what teaching each of these groups entail. It explains the difference in energy levels when teaching children or adults. Also, the focus of the class will be different depending on what type of group you are teaching. Since I am currently a teacher in a junior high school setting, I found the section pertaining to younger students more applicable. The tips provided to help facilitate a high energy environment that is conducive to learning were welcome. However, the business English sections are still useful because they do provide some contrast to what I am used to, especially if I do end up having to teach in such an environment in the future.
