For all of the 13 units so far, I have to say this unit is the most difficult one for me to learn and took me a longer time to finish,to digest than other units. This is the first time I learnt something about English phonology in such a systematic way. A lot of contents I did not know before. As it mentioned in this unit, I do believe pronunciation is one of the most struggling points for both teachers and students to teach and learn, not mentioning even if it has a certain rule as other language points have, I believe phonology has the most flexibility to change according to the current circumstances of speakers. As a teacher, besides letting students to understand the basic running rules, we also need to lead students learn about the Feeling of speaking English and real environment and proper practice will certainly help on this.
