This unit covered the different types of testing a student's language and evaluating their progress int he coarse. While it was a shorter unit than most, it included important information about testing as it can lead to stress on both students and teachers' parts if they are not prepared for them. It's important to evaluate students' progress in their language capability so that they can move on to more complex elements of English and it is a confidence booster when the student does well on a test as they see their skills are improving. From what I learned in this unit, the teacher has to give back feedback through evaluation but also not pressure the students with tests all the time since test anxiety is a common thing to be handled respectfully.
