Unit 12 allowed me to understand the second set of skills, productive skills. As stated in unit 11, productive skills are equally as important as receptive, and this unit explained that exactly. It delves into speaking and writing in a classroom and how to efficiently teach and use those skills. The unit allowed me to breakdown different activities to teach productive skills, organizing them into the ESA class format. The other important aspect in the activity is the focus of accuracy and fluency, treating each one differently. After learning and completing this unit, I am now able to properly teach and communicate productive skills to potential students.
