This unit was rather complicated to understand because although the grammar rules for the English language were presented clearly and concisely, the fact that there are so many exceptions to the rules made it a bit difficult to understand how to teach it. The irregular verbs, for example, require memorization and are not intuitively understood nor easy to communicate as an instructor because they do not appear to have a logical explanation for the reason that they are irregular. Finally, the various uses for verbs and the difference between transitive verbs and intransitive verbs appears to be an area that requires a lot of practice and therefore, when I consider the task of teaching the proper use of verbs and the conjugation of verbs, it seems to be an area that will require practice and commitment from both the instructor and the student.
