Watching these videos has provided a good demonstration of what I will be doing as a teacher. The first video showed a bad teacher and the second video showed a good teacher. The first teacher was grumpy, ill prepared, impatient, and didn't use visual examples or body gestures. The second teacher was smiling, had students display their names, was friendly, prepared, and had visual demonstrations. The result of the first teacher was a class that was confused and nervous and the result of the second teacher was a class that was engaged and effective. I have learned to be friendly, to know students by names, to be engaging, and to provide visual examples.
