The lesson covers the main points that need to be taken into consideration during the language course in general - from scratch until the problems that could potentially occur. Some of the examples are, of course:
- using native language (establishing rapport and encouranging speaking only English helps in this case)
- troubles while listening (pre-teaching difficult vocabulary helps)
- boredom (change of activities & engagement)
- being reluctant (the main point is not to insist on people who don't want to participate to actually participate against their will)
- large classes (could be managed with the help of group leaders + focus more on group and pair work)
