Unit 3 is my favourite so far. I will be coming back to it quite often to look for ideas and inspiration. I have learnt a lot about teaching methods and techniques.I was trying not to be orthodox and analysed the concepts with an open mind. For instance, the silent way of teaching did not look efficient at the first glance. but then I tried to think of where and how it can be applied, and I changed my mind. the authors did not have to convince me in the benefits of ESA approach. This is very similar to what I am trying to do in my classes. After reading the Unit I ordered Jeremy Harmer?s book, and I am looking forward to reading it.
