I loved that this lesson incorporated things previously learned. It's so important to always be scaffolding our learning, and why should we expect that from students when we don't model it ourselves? The ESA structure is making more sense the more I can connect it with potential lesson ideas. I had never heard of lessons in this structure, but I definitely have taught using all 3 methods. It's important to vary how and what we are teaching students to be successful. I also learned about the vocabulary and what makes it easy and difficult. I have tried learning some Thai, and it's nice to relate my own experiences with what future students might struggle with.
