This unit13 focused on pronunciation and phonology. Pronunciation is one of the most difficult parts of English language learning, and it's often neglected by the teachers, due to their lack of confidence and inability to teach it methodically, but it shouldn't be overlooked, it is supposed to be incorporated in every class because it's very important especially to the non-native English learners to enhance their understanding and speaking. This unit gave a detailed information for the benefit of both teachers and the students, This is why I found it very important. It looked at the intonation and stress, it's important in communication to understand the feelings and intention of the speaker. It also covered the area of articulation and phonemic alphabet as well as the techniques for teaching them.
