This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit covered the present tenses, which included: the present simple, the present continuous/progressive, the present perfect, and the present perfect continuous. The unit specified the affirmative forms, the negative forms, and the question forms for each aspect, as well as details on different usages and included activities that would be useful during the activate stage of ESA. The lesson also listed typical mistakes and errors for each type of present tense, but did not list the corrected versions. Figuring out how to correct these sentences myself allowed me to figure out how I would walk a student through each error and also helped clarify the differences between each type of present tense.
