This is unit is focused on teaching methodology.It helps the teacher to know which method is best for a particular topic.The ditails offered by this unit espacially with the Engage,Study and Activate(ESA)by Jeremy Harmer are very clear to understand and practice.This unit has gone as far as to introducing activities(games) and I think it is a great idea becuase from there I can now formulate other games which will reflect the lesson stage.I have been able to learn a lot from this unit;as a teacher I most always be positve, no matter which way I choose for the lesson it should start with Engage and end with Activate, not every activity can be used at any lesson phase, correction should have three steps;that is,firstly the student should correct his or her self. Secondly, if the student can't then let another student try?but not in a case where it may dampen the student's enthusiasm).And lastly I as a teacher to correct and the students talking time should be more than the teacher's.
