I have had both kinds of teachers, those from video 1 and those from video 2. The thing about the effect of attitude of a teacher on his students is that there should be a certain amount of self awareness on the teacher's part. If the students in video 1 had given feedback, the teacher would then have another perspective to let him know how he is doing. Unfortunately, sometimes these feedback surveys are made only after the whole semester of classes and it is too late. Thus, I feel that self-awareness and asking for feedback and simply just noticing the body language and reactions of students is very important. If one is willing and attentive and willing to adjust, I'm sure any teacher can have the video 2 kind of class.
