The two videos in this unit show how the same lesson can be taught in two completely different ways. By comparing the two videos it becomes evident, how the attitude, the teacher comes into the class with, has a great effect on the attitude of the students. Body language, smiling, speaking clearly and learning the students names are simple ways for the teacher to create a positive atmosphere in the classroom. In video number two, the students were participating more actively because the teacher gave a lot of examples, used mimes, drawings and a fun engage activity which helped the learners to understand the content of the lesson and feel more confident to contribute than in video number one.
