Unit 5 is focused on the elements of classroom management including how the teacher interacts with the students and how he/she arranges the class in physical space. The unit covers in more detail the various ways of grouping students for a specific lesson in order to achieve the best results. It also deals with different seating arrangements and their respective pros and cons. The last section concerns classroom management in terms of maintaining discipline and avoiding problems. I enjoyed the last section on discipline because it gives fairly specific suggestions on dealing with this type of problem.
