Out of all the methodologies, the Engage, Study and Activate (ESA) is the most prominent and beneficial one to use. By engaging it allows the teacher to really allow the students to participate. Followed by the study stage, to see how much information is retained by the students, whether being in groups or individually. The last stage activate is showing what you have learned, to talk freely as much as possible. There are different types of ESA. One type is Straight arrow, which shows a different order of ESA. Another is Boomerang, and lastly patchwork. All of the ESA have sub groups within them to show the difference of each group, and what activities are taken place among those groups.
