This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
In Unit 6 the Past tense is introduced, the short unit specifically focuses on the four aspects of the tense, being Past simple; Past Continuous; Past Perfect; and Past Perfect Continuous.
Each of the aspect's usage were also introduced, and I feel this was where I had learned and benefited the most in this unit - to differentiate the aspects of the Past tense.
Past simple was for a completed action in the past.
Past Continuous was for action that was in progress in the past.
Past Perfect was for actions that occurred before another past action, 'the past in the past'.
Past Perfect Continuous was more specific, for actions that started in the past and continued until specified moment of time.
