This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
In this unit, the author discusses the basic rules of modal auxiliary verbs, the three types of phrasal verbs, the three different clauses, and the two types of voices used in English. For the modal auxiliary verbs a chart is given with verb, its uses, and examples how the verb is used in the present, future, and past tenses. The discussion of phrasal verbs is not as in depth and as full of examples as the one on modal verbs. The three different types of phrasal verbs, which are intransitive, transitive separable, and transitive inseparable, are listed along with a definition and one or two examples. Similarly, the three different clauses, which are independent, dependent, and relative, and the two different voices in English, which are passive and active, are discussed in detail like that of phrasal verbs.
