this unit talks about the past tense. the past tense has to do with instances that already occurred. it could take many forms. the first form is the simple past. this mostly deals with actions that have ended and other actions followed in the past. the second form of past tense is the past continuous tense. this deals with actions that are still going on in the past. Also we have the past perfect tense which deals with actions which have been completed in the past. finally there is the past perfect continuous which deals actions that began in the past at a given time and went above that without stating if the action continued or not. so i learned how to use the past tense in all the various situations. i also learned how to form the simple past of regular and irregular verbs
