This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
The Unit 2 covers the basic elements of English Grammar by describing the different parts of speech, their sub-classification and some key rules that will help teachers present them to the students. By defining their function in the sentence, providing several examples as well as exceptions and tips about how to use them, most of the daily used sentences could be analyzed from their gramatical perspective.
Grammar, while not being obvious for native speakers, as it happens as an intuitive process while thinking and speaking, could be very useful for students of a foreign language, helping them to make correlations with the other languages that they are familiar for, those helping them to progress and memorize faster the new concepts.
In this chapter the following parts of speech have been covered:
Nouns, Adjectives, Articles, Verbs, Adverbs, Gerunds, Prepositions, Conjunctions and Pronouns.
