Unit 9 was very helpful and informative on how to build a proper lesson plan so a teacher can teach ESL learners in the most optimal way. I feel that being organized before a class starts is the best way to show your students how much you care about teaching them and in turn the students respond wanting to learn during class time. Also, making a proper lesson plans makes sure the teacher has all the materials the teacher needs to engage the students in the Straight Arrow ESA lesson format. What I found most helpful about this unit was the self evaluation form that I will use so that I can continue to evaluate my class and improve my lessons.
