In this unit we studied various special groups that class lessons might need to be catered towards. We covered individual learners, young learners, beginners, business English students and monolingual vs multilingual. Individual learner tips for successful lesson planning were given as well as activities that are suitable for the setting. In the young learners section we covered tips for success, pros and cons, rules for teacher behavior and discipline issues. In the business English section we covered pointers for successful lesson planning, including needs analysis, mid course evaluation and end of course evaluation.
