I have learned that the attitude of the teacher has a huge effect on students? learning in a lesson. The teacher should have a positive and engaging attitude in order to obtain a high level of participation from the students. A clear explanation should also be made before going on to the study phase of the lesson in order to make sure students understand the point of the lesson. Besides, I think the Engage phase at the beginning of the lesson is also very important because it encourages students to participate. Moreover, teachers should use gestures and miming as well as pictures and drawings to help students understand new vocabularies and this would also speed up the pace of the lesson.
