From this unit I have learned how to use the Engage, Study and Activate method of teaching to teach students how to produce stories and completed assignments accurately and fluently. This unit has demonstrated the difference between accuracy and fluency and its importance to teaching English as a second language. There are appropriate times to focus on fluency and other times to focus on accuracy. Certain plans, games, and techniques are better for accuracy lessons and same with fluency lessons. I think the differentiation is important in order to best teach English to non-native English speakers.
