Future tense expresses an action or situation that have not happened yet, but is expected to happen in the future. Unit 8 indicates this tense is not only formed by using will/shall with the simple form of the verb, there are so many different ways and ideas of expressing the future in English. However, we can?t choose among them at random, but have to use certain tenses depending on the situation. Unit 8 lists out seven most common tenses are used for future meaning, including the form and usages of them. Additional, Unit 8 outlines the typical mistakes and teaching ideas with these 7 tenses. This unit lists the different types of equipment that can be utilized by the teacher in a wide range of teaching environments. It is important for the teacher to know how to use the piece of equipment, especially with the new technology available such as the interactive white boards, and to be prepared before class. Things grow wrong with equipment and there may be power issues, so having a back up plan is a good idea if things don't go right. Pre-making overhead projection slides and presetting the beginning of a lesson on a tape are a couple examples of ways a teacher can prepare before hand.
