This unit discusses common problems dealt with in the classroom and how to best solve them. When dealing with a new class it's key to establish rapport with students, find about the English level of students using a specific activity, and to use warmer activities to get students motivated. This can come in the form of a game such as hangman or pictionary for example. Sometimes when dealing with students of varying English levels it's good to assign different tasks but use the same material or pair strong and weak students together. The unit also discusses how to deal with large classes, the use of native language in the class, and listening problems.
