The unit presents various aspects related to course books and lesson materials. Not only does it point out at the advantages and disadvantages of course books but also shows different parameters which need to be taken into account when choosing a course book, including the price and availability. In particular, I appreciated the flexible approach in using a course book with recommendations to adapt and supplement it with other materials depending on the group of students, their interests and capabilities. The examples used in the unit illustrate well and can be inspiring what kind of supporting materials can be looked for when preparing a lesson.
