Words and their structure and function, being introduced to the learning pool may be initially complex on the whole. Breaking down word order, meaning and function and showing how they fit in structural relation to one another and the picture they can present in the learner's mind can be made simpler and easier to absorb by knowing/following the steps/rules & positions of words placed properly. Knowing or learning comparable words from one's own language to the foreign language can also strengthen the student's word acquisition. If the student understands the meaning and use of words prior to attempting to place them and produce them written or orally it will be easier for them to use words with confidence in spoken and written form. I do believe if a teacher can follow this process or format it would serve to develop strong communication skills in students.
