Saying exactly what someone has said is called direct speech (sometimes called quoted speech). Here what a person says appears within quotation marks. Indirect speech (sometimes called reported speech), doesn't use quotation marks to enclose what the person said and it doesn't have to be word for word. Conditional tenses are used to speculate about what could happen, what might have happened, and what we wish would happen. In English, most sentences using the conditional contain the word if. Many conditional forms in English are used in sentences that include verbs in one of the past tenses.This unit goes over different types of classes and the different types of students you can run into teaching an EFL class. I found that I resonated more with teaching children than adults because I am a more creative person and it seems like you need to have that kind of mindset when teaching young learners. I also think that teaching Business English would be rewarding because you would be teaching people who want to learn because of their job. Overall, I am excited to become an ESL teacher after reading this unit because it can be fun and rewarding to be such a huge part of peoples' lives.
