Managing a classroom is often underestimated in most teaching courses, though its the foundation of a good lesson for any subject. As the unit points out, managing a classroom involves a wide variaty of skills and things to keep in mind, such as your own appearance, arrangement of the classroom and dividing your attention between individual, group or pair work. Managing a classroom is something you learn trough experience, often with trial and error. But most of all I have learned trough the years that your attitude towards the children, namely being positive, never loose your temper and being consistent are key to have a good rapport with your students, who will in return most likely not show behaviour problems.
