I found this to very interesting to read and understand. The multilingual class i was already aware of the details that were entailed however the Business English I was very unfamiliar with. This is something I will be new to and I found this training to be very valuable. From dressing the part, greetings, all these small body languages and behaviours play a part in their assessment of me as a teacher. Avoiding the use of the mother tongue is essential in both circumstances as this promotes to speak English all the time.
The one to one lessons was insightful. I never realised that it does not have to always be academically focused, and it could just be ways to improve confidence in the students ability for discussions, making friends etc.
