This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
Unit 16 discussed conditionals and reported speech. There are five main conditionals that the unit covered: zero conditional, first conditional, second conditional, third conditional and mixed conditional. Each conditional had the form and usage with examples. The unit also lists some ideas for how to teach the different conditionals, including split sentences where the students have to put the deconstructed conditionals back together. Lastly, this unit talked about the difference in reported speech and direct speech. And how we change direct speech into reported. There are also examples of how to teach reported and direct speech. For example, an instructor can put the class into groups of three students and two of the students talk to each other indirectly through the third person.
