This unit covered three topics. The first topic is modal auxiliary verbs which, when used in various sentences, convey different meanings depending on the modal auxiliary verb chosen. The difference in the meaning is in the formality, or politeness, of the intended message. They are also used for expressing certainty. The second topic is the use of passive voice and the different forms it can take. Lastly, there is the phrasal verbs - which as of this moment is causing me some confusions.
Overall, this unit was like any other unit that focused on the grammar and the grammar rules. As a native speaker, all of these rules are second nature and upon studying the specifics that have been present, it is all falling into place.
