I have learn in this unit the importance of productive skills in any language, that is speaking and writing. The reasons for communication(speaking or writing) were studied, i.e. for communicative purpose, the idea to say and listen to something and interest in what is being said.
The need to observe accuracy and fluency in speaking and writing was well emphasized, and most importantly the methods required to encourage students' interaction, like pair-work and group work.
The important consideration in teaching writing skills like spelling,handwriting, layout and punctuation as well as creativity were understood. Also the importance of using games to motivate and stimulate classroom environment.
