This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
In this unit, I learned about the 5 different conditionals and the grammatical morass that is reported speech. Conditionals are two part statements that describe things that might, will or could happen if certain conditions are met. There are five different types of conditionals from the zero conditional which describes irrefutable facts, to the third conditional which helps us express hypothetical past actions. This unit also taught reported speech, which another area of grammar that seems simple as a native speaker but turns out to be rather tricky. One has to keep track of all the tense and timing changes to make the meaning clear.
